In addition to counseling his clients on legal matters such as investment regulation, corporate formation, and anti-money laundering compliance, Mr. Lindgren focuses on developing a deep working relationship with companies and their executive teams. He works directly with his clients to develop their business strategy, bringing his expertise as both an attorney and an entrepreneur to help realize his clients' visions.
Mr. Lindgren is also a leading practitioner in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sector, where he regularly advises funds and issuers on key issues such as deal structure, product design, and overall legal strategy.
Mr. Lindgren earned his law degree with honors from the University of Minnesota, where he specialized in intellectual property and securities transactions. He has since pioneered the development of LLOY's FinTech and Cryptocurrency practice group, and serves on several working groups developing best practice recommendations for the institutional cryptocurrency investment sector. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Lindgren worked in pharmaceutical research and development, conducting clinical trials and pre-clinical drug development for Alzheimer's disease and other chronic conditions. Mr. Lindgren went on to co-found and advise a series of biotechnology startup companies.
In addition to his articles and publications on cryptocurrency regulation and institutional investment, he has been published on subjects as diverse as oncological treatment methodology, California National Guard governance, and historical constitutional analysis. As a former consumer of legal services, inventor, and entrepreneur himself, Mr. Lindgren's practical background and experience allows him particular insight into the needs and difficulties of new companies and emerging markets, and the ability to develop comprehensive solutions for his clients.
